Locating Credible Databases and Research Evidence-based practice (EBP) involves using objective evidence to make clinical decisions to give quality healthcare to patients. 10.5% of the United States population is suffering from diabetes (Leung et al., 2017). Communication Strategies to Encourage Diagnosis-Based Research Competent nurses will help new nurses build their confidence and create a conducive environment that will enable them to practice with the utmost competence. The communication strategies they can use include holding scheduled and unscheduled discussions, providing necessary feedback to the new nurses, and online training using videos to help the nurses communicate with the new nurses. The Best Places to Complete the Research It is very critical for nurses to look for resources in appropriate places. The nurses already in practice have experiences related to research. New nurses are advised to locate resources from university or hospital libraries and retrieve information from hospital manuals and even national treatment guidelines to complete research. Identification of Five Sources for Evidence of Clinical Diagnosis The following are the five sources identified: the Canadian Journal of Diabetes, Swedish National Diabetes Registry, Diabetes & Metabolism Journal, PloS One, and BMC Public Health. These sources have been arranged in order of priority according to the CRAAP analysis. Explanation of Why the Sources Provide the Best Evidence These sources have been chosen since they are full-text articles that have been retrieved from approved medical journals and peer-reviewed articles by renowned contributors in the medical field. These journals provide information on the diagnosis of diabetes, and they have scientifically collected data. References da Silva, J. A., de Souza, E. C. F., Böschemeier, A. G. E., da Costa, C. C.
